While there are many opportunities for participating in social media, for example, hiring a firm to help you manage the process may not be the most prudent business decision if your business doesn't have the capacity to dedicate in-house resources to the effort.
We will inform you if we do not believe in a project's success. We'd prefer to gain your trust than to embark on a journey that's not right for your business or ours.
Accurately estimating design and development work can be very difficult. In order for estimates to be accurate we need to be able to determine how long it will take for each task. Unless past projects are being diligently reviewed and scrutinized, business often go with the "best guess" of the developer who will perform the work. Our pricing is formulated to minimize stress on the client/developer relationship and to ensure that all time billed reflects actual time worked.
We believe that an open and straightforward dialog with prospective clients results in successful projects and happy customers. If we don't think we can do an outstanding job within your budget, we will tell you.
You will receive source files, logins and passwords, and all other info associated with your accounts. This includes registering domains in your name and providing you with full access to third-party services such as Google Analytics. If you want to manage everything yourself or take it somewhere else, that's your choice because you own your campaign.
Some of the solutions we provide may include protected works or software libraries we hold the licensing rights to. And some of the services we provide are not offered elsewhere. We will notify you before we begin a project if parts of the final deployment do not include source code or if we are the sole providers of any of the services.
We understand that the greatest threat to a healthy client/developer relationship is when the client's expectations are not met. We are very serious when it comes to ensuring that you are aware of every part of the process and that you completely understand the implications of approving a deliverable before you sign off on a project. It is for this reason that we prefer not to provide design compositions to prospective clients. We believe that this removes much of the discussion and process that goes into creating a usable and successful site and is usually driven by salesmanship and not a desire to produce quality work.
